  • Why do you like to teach?
It is a humbling and rewarding experience all at once. Frustrating yet meaningful but the kids taught me so much life lessons and showed me different takes on life's perspective. They made me appreciate and accept the finer things and made me a happier person. I never thought I would like teaching until I left my corporate job to find something more meaningful and I think I found it.

  • What is your strength?
My strengths are also my weakness. I am curious and love discovering, I am straightforward but sometimes awfully blunt. I am energetic and need to learn to slow down. I love challenges but I am careful in picking my battles. I am creative but organised. I am a planner and need to work in a routine.

  • Why do you like to teach?
I enjoy teaching and my happiness reaches its utmost degree whenever I am able to deliver a lesson and I feel that it resulted in a great effect on my students.
  • What is your favourite medium?
The medium which I like best is watercolour. Why? It is because I feel that watercolours bring transparent and delicate results to the art piece. It might be due to the nature of the watercolour. Sometimes even a few well-lead brush strokes can deliver a slightly completed effect. Watercolours are also RELAXING. Whenever working with water and brush, my mind is set on ease. Plus, watercolours are super easy on the eyes!
  • Why do you like children?
I feel happiest whenever I am around children! They inspire me with their simple smile and their innocence, which brings back the simplicity of happiness in life. At times, I feel that their innocence helps me to relieve my childhood. They light up my world, so I want to illuminate theirs.

The country that I would like to visit the most would be GREECE and specifically, Mykonos Island and Santorini Island. With the hectic and fast paced life in Singapore, I think it would be a dream come true to have a relaxing vacation at either of the islands.
  • If someone gave you 100K today, what would you do with it?
If someone gave me $100K today, I will go on a super long holiday around then world with my family, save part of it for emergency uses and save the rest for my wedding in the future. Let's face it: getting married and holding a wedding banquet is ridiculously expensive these days.
